Quite likely he also took it as given that he couldn't get penile cancer because he was a laydee

This is a sad case but I find it not really germane that the man was transed.

Gardacil vaccine has been available in the US only since 2006, and as of around 2010 it was not marketed except for women, and it was intentionally not marketed to men yet.

It was specifically not marketed to gay men who, had epidemic levels of anal cancer due to HPV - there was fear that the marketing would confuse women (I went to conferences on the subject; several of my gay male friends died of anal cancer in the late 2010’s). I did not see general advertisement of HPV vaccination until after 2020 in San Francisco, gaytown central.

To date men, most gay men are still not aware of several basic health measures including Hep-B and HPV vaccination. HPV virus infection which can progress to cancer is not the HPV which causes visible warts - there are dozens of HPV variants.

Anal swabs (Tush Smear similar to a Pap smear) for neoplasms are still not part of regular check-ups unless asked for. I ask all my gay friends to get regular tush smears, and to get vaccinated. Many were not aware of the existence of cheap, simple testing.

These cancers are extremely slow-growing. Unless you are swabbing, by the time you have detection it is not unusual to be at stage III - metastasized.

A man with a radical surgery such as this has the same chance as any man to develop HPV related cancer; to allow it to progress slowly, unnoticed. The main elevated risks would be damage to nerve tissue leaving less sensation in the area of a tumor; the pouch as an open wound would not be surprising to have a discharge; and lack of a cervix would make whichever doctor less likely to perform any swabbing and testing for neoplasms.

Sufeitzy, thank you for this information.

The reason I believe trans is relevant is that he may have noticed a growth on the shaft of his penis sooner, he may have been able to cut it off entirely more easily (versus what happened, which may have been pressure necrosis leading to invasion of local tissue), and if he had not been on carcinogenic cross sex hormones known to increase the rate of this cancer, maybe it wouldn't have developed at all. I understand the vaccine wasn't accessible to him but I mention that because medicine knew who the males were that recently. It is important that everyone get vaccinated and swabbed in places they might have been exposed. I'm not sure why we don't swab peoples throats for this same reason. It is a leading cause of head and neck cancers and people get exposed by eating with their hands and sharing forks.

Thanks, I understand your reasoning.

Late 2009 I had two friends who were diagnosed with anal cancer, one struggled for 6 months, the other went to his doctor at my request and began with a detected neoplasm which was cancerous, he died 3 years later. I asked all my friends to get checked and several more had neoplasms but thankfully nobody progressed. It’s epidemic in the gay community.

I’ve only known one man with penile cancer and as with all the other men, there was no indication at all of HPV infection, just over a period of a few years a “spot” at the base of his penis which resembled an infected hair follicle which simply progressed. In most men and women anal cancer simply resembles hemorrhoids.

At the same time friends were in trouble my accountant developed throat cancer. Same HPV source. I’m still surprised that after high-level celebrities like Michael Douglas’s throat cancer case that doctors are not having routine throat swabs as you mention. I believe most people imagine it’s only cigarettes.

The compound effect of what is ordinarily called “supraphysiological” hormone dosing, and HIV, and mechanical damage and persistent inflammation from dialation is a witches brew of causes which would exacerbate any precancerous condition.

i never thought i should get the hpv vaccine, bc i don’t date men. now i don’t know.

Dr. James Lyons-Weiler believes the hpv vaccine is not effective in preventing cervical cancer. He sites other medical papers supporting his view. https://popularrationalism.substack.com/p/important-reads-will-hpv-vaccination?utm_source=%2Fsearch%2Fhpv&utm_medium=reader2

Diana, I don't think you could have chosen a more questionable source for medical information than James Lyons-Weller. He is anti-science to his bones, and a dangerous peddler of disinformation. It took me about 30 seconds on his site to confirm that fact.

Please share the unscientific medical information. you so quickly identified so that we can make a better informed decision. I know Dr. Jack personally. He is dedicated to studying science and has founded an online university called Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge (https://ipak-edu.org) He taught us last week in his course "How to Read a Scientific Study" that we must not jump to conclusions. Vaccines are not always "unavoidably unsafe" as Reagan acknowledged when he gave them liability from all lawsuits in 1987. He told me, that with proper testing, we can discriminate those who would have vaccine adverse events so that they don't have to take vaccines and die or become disabled. ALSO the vaccines themselves can be made safe or safer by eliminating toxic minerals such as mercury (Thimerosal) and aluminum. He is not going to throw out the baby with the bath water. He has worked for several universities helping them plan their scientific studies. He is a peer reviewer for medical journals. He listed many published scientific papers that agree with his critique of HPV vaccine. I would trust him with my own life.

I’m not James’ biggest fan but the only reason you say that he is anti-science is because he pushes back on the fake pandemic of the last 4 years and doesnt believe in the vaccine that was rushed out (or is that the other way around) to allegedly contain a virus that doesn’t exist. At this stage, despite myself and James more or less being enemies, I’m just going to be blunt, fuck you and the pharmaceutical train that you came in on.

Which James?

Expand full comment

James Lyons-Weller. We don’t agree on viruses. I think that he is trying not to throw the baby out with the bathwater but that’s exactly what I think that we should do. But nevertheless, and the last time I clashed with him was a few years ago, I don’t remember him being a fan of the covid vaccine.

Expand full comment

Being anti-vaccine and claiming the COVID virus and epidemic are/were fake is just about as ignorantly and fundamentally anti-science as a person can be, so congrats on that! I'm just so grateful that scientific research and knowledge triumphed over your idiocy. Those of us who got our COVID vaccinations protected you and your loved ones as well as ourselves. I hope some day you realize that, but I'm not holding my breath.

I don’t see the point of arguing with cretins like you. Which is why I said "fuck you and the pharmaceutical train that you came in on” previously.

Expand full comment

I'm not arguing. I'm stating facts. You fancy yourself to be scientifically informed, and I'll bet you can't even define the words "antibody", "antigen", or "virus". I can, you see, and I know how they're related to each other because I am a scientist. You're just some right-wing wanker who makes shit up as you go along.

It's pointless arguing with these people. They make the Tar Baby look like Pete Buttegieg.

You're a certifiable loon and conspiracy monger.

Don’t. It is only harmful like every other fucking vaccine.

Expand full comment

I fully support your right to choose not to get a vaccine.

Expand full comment

No you don’t. You support a state that mandates it on me.

Expand full comment

I don't support forced vaccination. Employers letting people go because a lack of vaccinations reasonably endangers clients is another story.

Expand full comment

It doesn’t. That’s what the problem is.

Expand full comment

Disagree, but the point is that it's up to the employers to judge if the employees are helping or hurting their business. In some roles it can be reasonably accommodated and in other roles it can't be.

This is very sad, but such an important lesson. Wonder if this will change any minds.

I had no idea the incidence of HPV was so high, and even higher for males than females! They should have always recommended both boys and girls to get the HPV vaccine.

The next question is how many cases like this are there? Then, were there any "therapists" involved before he went to Thailand and do they know this happened?

Thinking that discharge from a fake wound you lie and say is a vagina makes you a woman is just...wow. What more will it take to convince these brainwashed converts that their death is what they are banking on? Sad

Expand full comment

I usually agree with every thing you write. In this case, I only agree with "nearly everything." The HPV vaccine is not guaranteed to reduce the rate of cancer as this article demonstrates: https://popularrationalism.substack.com/p/important-reads-will-hpv-vaccination?utm_source=%2Fsearch%2Fhpv&utm_medium=reader2

However, you ARE right that Lupron is a dangerous drug and probably should be completely banned due to its dangerous adverse reactions (death!)--even for prostate cancer for which it was originally prescribed. https://truth613.substack.com/p/incredibly-dangerous-drug-once-fraudulently

Which Pharmaceutical company pays you to spread such bullshit?

All of them. I retired recently because of how much they give me, not counting all the money I get from Jordan Peterson to be a terf.

Yeah that’s the thing. If you’re going to be a TERF then do it right. That involves pushing back on every pharmaceutical product not just the gender one.

I don't agree because where did smallpox go?

Expand full comment

It was defeated by a vaccine invented by the vaccinologist (no not eugenicist) by the name of Edward Jenner who concocted it out of ingredients from a farmyard including horse shit.

Wonderful stuff.

It definitely wasn't. He died 150 years before we defeated smallpox.

It was developed after he noticed that dairy maids, who regularly contracted Cowpox, didn't catch Smallpox when there was a local outbreak.

You are extremely ill informed.

Being a TERF has zero to do with pushing back against science, or pharmaceutical companies.

I'm a committed TERF, and I also understand that vaccines are life saving in the VAST majority of cases.

You sound like Trump.

Expand full comment

It’s so easy to throw everything in that corner right? He doesn’t believe in vaccines so he must be right wing and a Trump supporter.

While a lot of Trump supporters are probably virus agnostics if not virus atheists and definitely vaccine atheists at this stage Trump himself is, like Biden, a cretin of the highest order and fully supportive of Pharma Inc when it comes to the peasants taking their vaccines. Sorry Sarah but fuck your vaccines and come near me or mine with them again and…..

Expand full comment

Do you know what TERF means? I don't think you do, because it's literally all about gender identity.

Expand full comment

It’s supposed to be short for Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist. Which makes it about sex rather than gender nonsense. But in reality it’s just a slur to throw around at people who won’t imbibe of the nonsense of gender identity and its roots are probably from the Hebrew word for ‘prey’ which is TRF (טרף) and the Californian slang for anal sex which is ‘turf’ from ‘surf and turf’.
