One of the things she's trying to lobby for is for family law to take into account that transition is a sign of mental pathology. Thanks to gender ideology, UK courts instead treat it as both an immutable characteristic, like race, and as a protected identity, like religion. So the fact that a parent is trans is meant to have no bearing on custody decisions -- in fact, to take it into account is considered discriminatory!
Similarly, social services do not take a trans identity into consideration when assessing the suitability of adoptive parents, including those who wish to foster vulnerable kids. Nor do hospitals treat it with suspicion if a "transwoman" wishes to be assisted in helping to "chest-feed" a newborn. (One of Emma's main achievements so far has been to send freedom-of-information requests to healthcare bodies to find out what their official guidance is on "gender-inclusive" lactation support services. In doing so, she was able to expose that the official policy in many UK hospitals is to treat "transwomen" the same as actual women!)
Another of Emma's key points is that a trans identity is frequently co-morbid with a personality disorder, which raises serious red flags about an individual's capacity to provide a safe and loving home for a child. (She herself had an incredibly traumatic upbringing in which her narcissistic paraphilic father gained sole custody of her after her mother developed schizophrenia.)

If we lived in sane world that actually cared about kids, the very least that would be required of these personality disordered individuals and that they are actually neutered, balls and ovaries removed, before they could pretend to be the other sex.
If we lived in a sane world there would be no medical path to transition at all. Sterilizing the mentally ill for what could/would be a temporary problem is already what this is doing. You can't have a requirement that we sterilize someone because of a mental illness because that will always be abused and broadened. It has to never be affirmed, that's the only sane response. Then the usual steps for child abuse prevention would apply if either parent pursued drug use and lifestyle choices that endangered their children.
Yep. In an ideal world no psychiatric condition would be treated with a cocktail of hormonal drugs, surgical and cosmetic interventions, and affirmative therapy. We are so far through the looking glass...
