Oh but we do, Ex. We do have the right. We humans have been sacrificing our children to the gods for a long time. Here in America, we let people get away with letting children die because they believe in their gods instead of medicine. This is just medicine playing god by the same set of rules. Rights. Americans using their rights on children. Like people do. Like we humans always do. I'm as mad about it as you are and equally frustrated.
The Florida high court agreed with the Minnesota ruling. The justices held that the relevant Florida laws "are ambiguous and result in a denial of due process because the statutes in question fail to give parents notice of the point at which their reliance on spiritual treatment loses statutory approval and becomes culpably negligent."
"We conclude that the legislature has failed to clearly indicate the point at which a parent's reliance on his or her religious beliefs in the treatment of his or her children becomes criminal conduct," the court said. Seven cases in 1980s

This doesn't to me sound like the rule is that if it's your beliefs, anything goes, but rather that the law was so poorly written as to be unenforceable. To me, this is parallel to the gender affirming treatment bans, which I by and large do NOT support, as I feel they are written by non-medical people who do not think about a lot of implications. I think that the only thing that will stop this train is civil litigation and loss of licensure for the physicians involved due to being exposed on the stand as practicing outside their competence. Then after a few high profile cases of serious consequences, other physicians will get the fuck off tiktok and stop trying to sell this insanity.

It's all good faith and freedom until some money is harmed. What those cases I linked to demonstrate (and there are others) is that it is *hard* to get criminal justice, much *easier* to get civil judgments. So you are completely correct that this is how it will end.
There were several high-profile cases in the Detroit area some years ago. Christian Scientists were letting their children die or come close to death from treatable diseases. As I recall, several were removed from their parents' care.
If they don't have increased rates of diabetes in both directions I will be truly shocked. The planned parenthood paperwork even WARNS them of diabetes risk. You may have seen the PFFFFT reaction when Jeanette told Jazz he was not yet prediabetic. Look at the poor kid. He's not huge by coincidence. People get that fat because of insulin resistance which causes a cross-resistance with the fullness hormone, leptin. And drug resistance happens from drug exposure. His pancreas is working overtime and eventually it will break. Interestingly, the inverse relationship exists between glucagon, insulin's reverse-uno that pulls glycogen out of cells, and the hunger hormone, ghrelin. So you can imagine how anorexia/exercise addiction happens just from repeated drug exposure (glucagon is a drug, a hormone).
“We” aren’t experimenting on girls and women. Scurrilous medical businesspeople are experimenting on them, just like they’ve done since the inception of their industry. Application of technology doesn’t equal science or healthcare, and I certainly don’t trust those incompetent and/or abusive medical practitioners for little else but trauma care, which they actually excel in (credit where it’s due). I’m a survivor of religious abuse in childhood, yet am still greatly sympathetic towards parents who care for their children’s health at home, instead of sending them to butchers who profit monetarily. Beware of unscientific groupthink, as it is rampant in this industry and will continue to maim and kill due to its narcissistic death cult nature. I will never be able to figure out just how victims were convinced to clamor for garbage doctor dope, instead of the good stuff that actually works! They do actually have some, but synthetic hormones? I sure didn’t see this one coming.
Wow. What an insight. Guess we can add Parkinson's and Diabetes to the list. Bonus points? Earlier this evening I watched "Last Week Tonight." John Oliver went woke-and-a-half over transgender rights. Trashed Abigail Schreier and Christopher Rufo. He used to be kind of funny, not so much anymore. A while back he had a segment on sex workers that made my jaw drop and my blood boil. He's gone loony.
Exulansic, have you read “The Superior Sex” by Sharon Moalem or seen any of his Twitter threads? He really hit the ball out the park describing all of the molecular genetic effects of the second X chromosome. There are gene products produced by the the interaction of the two X chromosomes, gene products not found in men. He is the one who got me started on the trans issue on Twitter. He had asked about what was common about a bunch of molecular processes and I wrote back “neural crest derived” (because I had never heard of trans ideology) and he wrote back “female, but your answer is also acceptable” and that’s what got me hooked. Of all the people standing up to this insanity, you and Emma Hilton are the most skilled. I want you to be on Joe Rogan. On all the shows and all the panels. I listen to you every day!
Gosh ,how awful. Yet more evidence of where interfering with nature lands us. We have to work WITH nature if we are to survive. MAN always thinks he can play God and get away with it. Such arrogance !!

Parents don't have a right to deny their diabetic child insulin so I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Thank you for engaging on this.

Exulansic, your theorizing here makes me wonder if there's a higher than expected rate of diabetes in trans-hormone-treated people.
you are working on a second book here.
