No, sorry, Kuato identifies as Mars resistance but not female. You are thinking of Melina.

Though if Hollywood remade "Total Recall" today they would probably gender-and-race-swap Kuato and make Melina a girlboss

So I asked ChatGPT “are puberty blockers safe”

This is what it generated:

Puberty blockers, also known as GRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) agonists, are a safe and effective treatment option for transgender youth and some youth with gender dysphoria. These medications work by temporarily delaying the physical changes of puberty, allowing youth and their families more time to explore their gender identity and make informed decisions about their medical transition.

The safety and efficacy of puberty blockers have been studied in multiple clinical trials and have been found to be safe and well-tolerated. The most common side effects are injection site reactions and headaches.

It's important to note that puberty blockers should only be prescribed and administered under the care of a qualified healthcare provider with expertise in gender-affirming care. A thorough assessment, including a mental health evaluation, is needed before starting treatment.

It's also worth mentioning that the use of puberty blockers has been recently discussed in the media, and there are some studies that suggest that there may be some risks associated with the long term use of these blockers. It's important to consult with your healthcare provider and have a thorough discussion about the benefits and risks of the treatment before deciding to go on blockers.

Has anyone told ChatGPT about FDA approval? There are no drugs that are approved by the FDA for blocking puberty in individuals who are of a normal age of puberty.

Seems like it does not follow the protocol. In fairness it does not pretend to.

Maybe if you ask it about Covid…

I have listened to several videos in the Alec series. He repeatedly claims to be "outcomes-based". Setting aside placebo-controlled trials for a moment, is he able to cite outcomes from any controlled studies of puberty blockers for kids versus mental health interventions alone or versus "watchful waiting"? Or even any long-term uncontrolled studies of kids who had puberty lockers for gender dysphoria? it's one thing asking the kids at age 20 how they feel (and before many potential physical adverse events are manifest), but how are their mental and physical health outcomes at age 30, 40, 50? If one is concerned about "outcomes", they should be more concerned about long-term outcomes than short-term outcomes.

I was thinking this same thing. He is obsessed with "outcomes" but the only ones he talks about are short term. There are a LOT of things that can make young people happy short term that in hindsight, when we're older, we realize would have been a really bad idea. It's like he doesn't understand that there is a difference between short term and long term outcomes.

there will be plenty of outcomes for alec and the rest over the next decade. and they’ll cry out and blame the doctors for not properly warning them. and we’ll be shaking our heads trying not to say “i told you so”

Plus the brain is still developing during adolescence and blocking the normal levels of testosterone in boys and estrogen and progesterone in girls could adversely impact brain development e.g.

Exactly. And most people accept this brain development fact as a fact. That's baffling to me since these are often the same people who will turn around and say a teenager is capable of making decisions that will have profound effects on the rest of their lives using their half-baked brain.

In the news recently, in the Northeast, there has been some discussion of disappointment with NY states decision to allow people over 21 to buy recreational marijuana. They're saying weed effects young brains differently than alcohol so it would be wise to delay allowing people to purchase it until they're over 25.

In the next breath they're affirming trans dogma. We are being gaslit on a scale I could never have imagined as a young woman, and I grew up with some master gaslighters.

There is another excellent article in yesterday's (Jan. 15, 2023) City Journal. "How to Regulate Pediatric Gender Medicine" by Leor Sapir. It lays out 8 steps that can be taken to end this nonsense. He has written several other articles on this topic : "The Placebo is the Point," "Affirming Deception," and "The School-to-Clinic Pipeline." A couple of cogent quotes : "...the world of "gender-affirming" health care is awash with incompetence, dishonesty, and most commonly, confirmation bias." "...activists have managed to...prevent the publication of criticism, capture institutions like AAP, and intimidate dissenters into silence." City Journal is a free online publication of the Manhattan Institute. Christopher Rufo is also a contributer on this topic. Strongly recommended.

Snap! I found "the nurse" on LinkedIn the other day; it's hilarious and appears to have been created ...recently. It looks like a joke profile, no details apart from an incomplete job for "Nurse", no picture, no education history etc. He is an utter farce.

He's very proud of himself, isn't he? I've met a bunch of these men. They watch one movie and suddenly they're film experts, drive stick once and they know all about transmissions. This is why the old saying "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing" was coined in the first place.

Anybody else read Taki's Magizine? It is often way, way too right wing for me, but frequently has excellent gender-critical articles. Today's two articles (Jan 16, 2023) are on the cancellation of Jordan Peterson and Kelli-Jay Keen. Read 'em and weep.

It doesn’t surprise me in the least that there is a “cause and effect” based link that exists, is quantifiable and includes the pituitary gland. 😲

Thank you for delving further into this, I’m pretty sure gender affirming healthcare providers are NOT! 😡 Money, money, money...muunnneeeey!💰
