Wise words. I do not forgive my crossdressing ex-husband for emotionally blackmailing me with this threat. I hope at least that the knowledge about this case will get the truth out regarding the dangers of the sexual lobotomies called "affirmative care."
It took me years to truly hear my therapist when she told me that I had not hurt a person who threatened suicide then passed away shortly after, for choosing to walk away unless and until this person got into proper treatment, nearly as much as this person had hurt me by putting such pain and plans onto me in that manner. It's so natural to devalue your own needs in the face of the idea that someone else is about to die.
I felt that so many times when my crossdressing husband put that blackmail on me. It's illegal in some states to "encourage." I told my then husband that it was a sin against our God. I'd converted to Judaism, which, in our marriage, he claimed to espouse.
There is no way the Canadian government could approve this. How would it look to the rest of the world?? They funded the transing of a mentally ill man and then they kill him when it all predictably went wrong. Not a good look for Canada.
That was my first thought too. It’s bad PR, and would be seized upon as precedent to be used in legal challenges to gender-affirming policies. Can’t have that, can we?
Govt. Euthanasia isn't a good look... they're allowing "depressed" people to kill themselves, they're trying to allow "informed" MINORS to kill themselves, why is allowing this individual to kill themselves any different?
i was first exposed to duchess through ben's video and all i could think was there was no way in hell he would ever be approved for maid. it would be too obvious and the 'good intentions' of the program was to be reserved for terminal illnesses. the car thing really shows the gratification and power he is trying to wield with his threats. but there is something to be said about the lgbtq targeting of indigenous peoples, especially indigenous kids in the foster care program. it dumbfounds me to watch self declared progressive people talk shit on the christians trying to 'save natives from going to hell' and then turn around and try to save indigenous peoples/kids from 'killing themselves from being born in the wrong body'. same religious saviour complex within their own doctrine, genocide and conversion, different wording.
Dear Exulansic, - I have no medical education so I am just wondering if it is possible that all vaginoplasty surgeries cause inflammation swelling and pain to prevent anyone from dilating, the penis skin gets micro tears from dilation, and the body tries to heal the micro tears by making scars, the xy body realizes it should not have an open wound and tries to fill in the "vagina" with massive scarring. What if this surgery is a scam and dilation does not keep it open. I'm beginning to wonder if no one who has had the surgery is able to have a "vagina" that he can dilate, keep open and not have scarring or pain. I am honestly sorry for every human being who has had vaginoplasty or any "reassignment surgery.

i dont understand asking for permission from the Govt to remove yourself from living. it's "a cry for help" or some sort of grift.

I do think the state has an interest in not complying for political reasons.
You can't have such a public trans person offing themselves due to an amputation that is very popular and serving the "no more Humans" agenda.
