Jeanette's behaviour seems to be getting worse as it dawns on her that she's losing her death grip control over Jazz's narrative when he's out of reach. Her concern about Jazz being on his own isn't about his well-being, but making sure the truth doesn't breach the accepted thoughts bubble. People who make kick-the-can decisions are dangerous when the inevitable starts to come into focus.
Yes, it is interesting. The link I’ve posted here below is an outtake of the show when Jazz was lead into a session on past life regression. Whether you believe in this or not, Jazz admits he was gay in a past life. Yes, just a few short years ago before they transed him. I was aghast that no one picked up on this big red flag on the play. They can’t go there, though. But I suspect Jazz will come to that realization eventually.
I had the same response you did. Clearly, without a doubt, he saw himself as a gay man before his mother insisted he was a girl. I understand why nothing was made of this revelation because it brings into the light of day the harm done to him.
Thanks for the like dear! I'm a subscriber under a different name. What poor Noah is unable to process is that the vast majority of straight people AND gay people have no interest in dating someone who is transgender. This is the great conundrum for them; go through all the drugs and surgery to change sex, and nobody wants to be intimate with you. When Noah blurts "I can still have children," she is clearly declaring herself female (situationally anyway), and keeping that door open.
And of course, if it is "nobody's business" that the first half of Noah's life she was a female, what else is "nobody's business?" Drug addiction? Arson? Sex offenses?
They believe they're working towards a world where "cis people" won't be abandoned for acquiring/manifesting any of these problems they're acquiring voluntarily. Any consequence of their choices romantically is just proof of and the result of your unjust expectations that are the result of the ableist and bigoted system we live under. It's a good thing they were here to make you aware of it, or else you might have really hurt your spouse. This is how they really think. Noah is angry you would make an assumption that would keep you from the person God has designated as your spouse. And she's been born again now, so how dare you judge her past sinful self.
how is the fucking secretary of education of the united states not embarrassed to be there? jazz is just chatting away about the other schoolchildren being mean to him, like the developmental child he is. why would any of that concern the highest level of government?
We need to have a zero tolerance policy on cooties though. School shootings are solved and there's political will for anti-cootie legislation in the wake of the success of the COVID lockdowns. How can you stand against this?
He's clearly like "We are already on this...yeah, no...we've got this. We don't need to pass any laws. No, really, we're fine..." then Jazz and Griffin are like "Great! Now let's take this idea to the next level" without noticing they got pretty much nothing from the Sec.
Sorry, I have a ton to reply to, so this comment will be long (or split into multiples if it doesn't all fit):
1. At 17:40 - Noah may "pass" when seen on his own, but compare that flat/concave chest and overall body shape to Sander sitting right next to her and there's no doubt what she was "assigned at birth". Also - do surgeons never get the nipples in the right place?
2. I haven't followed the show since the beginning, but Jazz addresses something I've been curious about. He's accepted to Harvard, but I wondered how a kid whose life was so much about their transition ever had time to pay attention to their studies? Apparently he got all A's without studying somehow? And also, with the exception of the rarely-seen older sister, they all seem average- to below-average intelligence. Also, the comment about no real socializing since 10th grade later in the episode makes me wonder if he was home-schooled from that point on? Maybe it's easy to get all A's when mom's your teacher. Then again, Harvard seems to be the Ivy where all the celebs go, so maybe GPA is less important if you balance it with a high public profile.
3. I kinda thought the same thing Raymond did: "Yeah, attending an Ivy expecting to get straight A's is exactly the time you should also try to kick an addiction and start a new fitness regimen."
3. Not only is Jazz duck-toed, he can't walk and talk without getting winded.
4. That doctor: "Aaron is...FINALLY ready..." Like, are you late on your yacht payments or something? What's the rush?
5. Also the doctor saying "you've been so good at paying attention to all this medical stuff..." to Jazz. I mean...isn't that the bare minimum of what someone should do during an internship in a medical office? Why is she talking to him like he's 5?
6. It must be the drugs, but Jazz's affect is so flat. About watching a surgery: "That would be awesome, I would love that.." with dead eyes and no smile.
7. When I saw the teaser for Sander's bro-down, I seriously thought all the guys were trans at first!
8. Noah has a woman symbol tattooed on her inside right arm. Too bad it's not the forearm b/c then it could wind up on her phallus were she to have RFFF.
9. Is Noah still fertile or not? I couldn't tell which situation (ability to bear children or not) was the hypothetical.
1. I think they like playing pin the nipple on the trans person.
2. Yea I really question how much of Jazz's GPA was completed by Jazz and how much was hired tutors. I know what my transcript looked like and what kind of person I was. Jazz is clearly developmentally delayed. Everyone talks down to him and he makes a fool of himself trying to talk to adults like on the zoom call his brother mocked his outfit for. Re their developmental issues, Sander and Griffin also had twin to twin transfusion syndrome. They're identical twins, so you can see that this syndrome affected their physical, structural development profoundly, throughout their bodies, and this may affect their cognition even if they're genetically predisposed to normal IQ.
3. Jazz has no sense of reality.
4. Yea, they pressure them at every visit like they're unsure if they want to keep getting chemo for their tumor.
5. The bar is very, very low. What's incredible is they think that paying attention to medical stuff might be beyond someone his age, when apparently he was able to pay attention to it enough to consent to have the Russian nesting dick installed.
6. Jazz seems dead inside but I do not think it's only the drugs. I do think the drugs slow his reaction time and that may contribute to zombie-mode because by the time he processes his world, everyone has moved on, so it is too late for him to have an appropriate reaction.
7. I am reasonably confident that the one going at it with Noah was also trans, based on voice and how eager the show was to tell you that none of them but Noah are trans and in fact Sander knows 0 trans men. We know what show we're watching, TLC!
8. wait Noah made a regrettable permanent choice once?
9. it was not clear to me. My impression is yes, Noah still has all her bottom parts, but might be infertile still from the testosterone.
When the Congressional hearings begin, I wonder if some investigative journalists will address the issue of how many of our nation's leaders have financial interests in gender clinics. And big Trans-Pharma. Prepare to be shocked, shocked. And not to be mean about it, but how many straight guys would date a bearded, breastless woman? And to be mean about it, I wonder how Aaron likes her male pattern baldness?
Jeanette prancing around giggling at her son’s expense in her brand new Harvard t-shirt! Clearly her kid is suffering but she just reminds me of a pig in shit! Can anyone say “narcissist “?
Maybe some of you read about the young woman in Texas who was rejected from Harvard? She’s the Valedictorian of her large public high school class, 11 AP’s in things like physics..., held a part- time job, was in all the school plays , started an accounting club at school and scored a 1550- 1580(?) on her SAT’s! One of the reasons for her rejection was that she’s FEMALE ( more women apply -shocker!) It really galls me when I think of Jazz taking the place of a girl like that!
I agree Jazz was a bad admissions decision (although will he ever actually go there? Sounds like Harvard got the cachet of admitting Jazz without ever having to actually deal with him ) but as for the other girl--kids with great grades and test scores are a dime a dozen. This girl sounds great but not remarkable. I work with kids applying to college and this profile is absolutely the norm for them. and most of them don't get into the Ivies/Stanford/MIT.
Everytime I watch I am Jazz I want to scream and set something on fire. The siblings clearly resent Jazz for all the attention he gets, so they abuse and bully him. All the snide comments, putting him down, putting him in physical activities he can't keep up with so that he's hurt, making him look foolish i.e. the pasta in his hair. I'm enraged by it, I don't even see a healthy bond between any of the other siblings. I feel those horrible people they have for parents likely pitted them all against each other. It's enraging and pitiful.
Jeanette and Greg are the most wildly awful parents; I believe Jeanette figured out pretty quickly that Jazz was homosexual and she could not have that, not in her home! She's a narcissist so the outward appearance and controlling the opinions of others is the most important thing, because her kids are all a reflection of her the most important person. Thats why she forces Jazz to wax his legs, even when he said no and even when it hurt. That's why she obsesses over and shames Jazz for his weight. Jeanette has no boundaries and is inappropriate with her own children i.e. "DONT FORGET TO DIALATE!" And wanting to know if Sander had sex with Hope. As well as following Jazz all the way to Harvard. I believe that sexual abuse in some manner has taken place in this family. Jeanette is steam rolling Jazz into an early grave through a death by a thousand cuts, and the siblings and Greg are too stunted, feckless, and traumatized to stop it.
Anyone who can watch this show and think oh how wholesome! Need to have their eyes removed. TLC should be shut down, and it's owners shamed from one side of the country to the other.
Free Jazz now before it's too late! I had to get that off my chest.
"Don't forget to dilate!!" was Jeanette's "No wire hangers!!" moment. What are the odds that they'll put that on her headstone. I just wish we could see that. Like, soon.
Is it not extremely homophobic that Sander doesn't just come out as gay and date Noah? He is clearly attracted. It seems like he's quite the closet case, pretending that he isn't wildly attracted to his new friend. JUST BE GAY!!
Many men, especially heterosexual ones, very much fear male penetration. That's part of what drove the CAIS reaction: if Dalea is a man, men who like Dalea are gay. I triggered gay panic. Being attracted to a male marks them as rape-able, in homophbic male rat-brain ontology.
jazz seems EXHAUSTED. some people are built for life in the spotlight: they’re narcissists, they thrive on attention, and most important, they are in fine physical health! not jazz. his mother, yeah. but not jazz. his life was never gonna be about him.
I feel bad for him. I think he would rather live a quiet life. I wonder how much money is set aside for him. He's the main focus of the show. He should have been getting income this whole time. Why can't he just take his money and say he's moving out? I guess he's been trod on so much he just can't say no. It's sad.
The last part of this, from 1:10 onward deserves it's own video. It's beautiful.
It’s very interesting that the person that Jazz obviously feels the biggest bond with, and affinity to is a gay man
Yes, it is interesting. The link I’ve posted here below is an outtake of the show when Jazz was lead into a session on past life regression. 6:25 "I took her off progesterone." Is Jeanette a doctor now?

I still get cooties flare-ups after 65 years.

That comparison is cruel to pigs in shit.
So true!

Note- REAL GIRL like that.
It's Harvard. They make bad admissions decisions.
I've given a conference paper at Harvard. More proof that they don't give a shit who walks through their doors.
😂😂😂
I agree Jazz was a bad admissions decision (although will he ever actually go there? It just dawned on me- Jeanette needs to invest in an acting coach for Sander in order to really pull this shit off!
When mom makes you a “media darling” , your chances of getting into an Ivy increase- the admissions office is so woke, after all!
Everytime I watch I am Jazz I want to scream and set something on fire. The siblings clearly resent Jazz for all the attention he gets, so they abuse and bully him. Men don't usually shave their legs, do they?
If it's not one thing, it's your mother. ;)
Wonderful!
