As some of you are aware, I have been sick this past year with what I’ve gradually narrowed down to an environmentally induced, histaminergic illness. I’ve had to temporarily suspend my practice due to the disabling effects of this illness. During my visit to the UK, my symptoms went away, even though I did not change my diet and kept petting cats. It was quite a pleasant surprise, as I had just accepted that this is my life now. My symptoms immediately returned when I got back to my apartment. I then experimented and found loratidine relieved my symptoms, even though they were not following a stereotypical allergy pattern. I’m sharing because you may be going through something similar and this may help somebody.
Histamine is a neurotransmitter, and has profound metabolic significance in other functions such as stomach acid production. Tonight, I went to run a bath instead of a normal shower, and stepped out to let it fill. When I returned, I found the Flint, Michigan/Jackson Mississippi special waiting for me. I won’t post the photos, as I do not want to disgust my beloved readership, but I will be relocating to a hotel while I vacate this uninhabitable unit that appears - literally - to be the source of my illness this year.
I will update more, including naming the guilty party, once we (me and my kitties) are in a safe place with water that is a transparent and does not reek. Thank you all for your love and support during this annoying time. The good news is that I can mock the gender cult no matter how much GI pain I’m in and in fact, it’s my preferred method of pain management. I will still be at the event this coming Saturday (KJK in SF 10/22).
Is it that water or is there mold? If you lived on the east coast I’d be a human mold detector for you. I’ve done it for a few friends.
Glad you and your cats are out of there! Take care of yourself.
Thanks for keeping us updated on this. Is it mould?
