The Dead Names: James Clifford Shupe
Also known by the names "Jamie" "Elisa Rae," Shupe was a 61 year old transitioner-detransitioner-retransitioner autogynephilic nonbinitarian man who reportedly hung himself wrapped in a trans flag, off the side of a parking garage, following years of being a menace to women, including his wife. He had been discharged from the psychiatric ward just days earlier, sources say, following an orchiectomy at the end of December. Some also say he subsequently received vaginoplasty but other sources are disputing that.
He was provided this destabilizing, metabolic sabotage despite a 100% disability rating and a variety of severe mental illnesses acquired during military service. Much of the time, PTSD in a veteran implies TBI. It's not clear if he ever worked with a speech-language pathologist for possible TBI. I have seen no evidence that his sexually compulsive and abusive behavior manifested prior to the acquisition of service-related mental disease or defect. Prior to the jump, he is said to have emailed a suicide note to several close friends. He had been the first nonbinary identifying person to receive legal recognition for his third gender pretensions in the United States.
