Text of my email to Coach CEO Joanne Crevoiserat

Hello,

It is with a heavy heart that I must reach out to inform you of the heinous behavior of a person within your employ, Anthony Martucci, aka Amara Vasquez.  In addition to threatening activist Jeanna Hoch @jeannahoch with violence at NYC #letwomenspeak, he has since sent voice recordings to @mrandyngo Andy Ngo on twitter, threatening him with hate-motivated violence for being a, and I hate to use this term, but it's a slur Mr. Vasquez has used repeatedly, "fa**ot."  He also called Stonewall Riots veteran, 81 year old Jim Fouratt, a "fucking fa**ot" at #letwomenspeak NYC. 

He leaned right into his face and screamed it.  This is all on video.  He reportedly also pushed Mr. Fouratt, which could have ended his life easily due to his age, or caused severe injury, though this was not captured on video that I have seen.  He is claiming that you have privately sent him messages of support for this behavior. For the sake of all that is right and good, as well as for the continued good name of your brand, I urge you to publicly disavow this homophobic, violent, unstable individual, clarify that you do not support hate speech, hate crimes, and hate violence targeting gay and lesbian people, and end your professional relationship with him.

If you continue your silence and god forbid, if the allegations of private support of this behavior are true, I fear it spells the end for the Coach brand.  This person clearly ought to have been arrested or forcibly committed for being a danger to other people by now.  I anticipate he will only escalate due to reason of disease, mental defect, or simple hatred of lesbian and gay people.
