I get the feeling that Elliot feels that truly giving no Fs about her child is part of the man larp. Disgusting

DES, a super synthetic estrogen and one of Pharma’s biggest disasters (and that is saying something) had horrific effects on victims exposed in utero including up to 3rd generation cancers and horrific deformities of reproductive organs. This affected 100s of thousands. Not surprisingly, higher than average rates of transgenderism and homosexuality have been reported on victims groups of males exposed in utero. It was prescribed for everything from stunting growth on pubescent girls who were growing “too tall” and as an anti-miscarriage drug, although it did nothing if the sort. Few seem to remember this tragedy even though it was as big a scandal as thalidomide and sadly we didn’t have someone like a Dr. Frances Kelsey to protect the public. My mother and aunt narrowly dodged being DES victims because my grandmother had suffered several miscarriages and her doctor was really pushing it on her.

I know someone, due to her mother being prescribed DES, could not bear children and had to undergo skin grafts and surgery to create a vagina. (She adopted a child.)

My philosophy professor had a bifurcated uterus due to being exposed to DES. She was able to conceive but gave birth prematurely and her son had terrible cerebral palsy and was severely brain damaged and unable to walk, talk, etc. She died in her 50s of a heart attack - im not sure if from heartbreak, stress or the DES. A horrific tragedy and that drug and its reckless distribution caused untold suffering. Horrific cancers as well - a girl who was a DES granddaughter died of ovarian cancer at 13! The greater public seems to have no knowledge of this injustice, however - even people who lived through the 1970s when the story came out.

I’m 68 and the lady I wrote about is a few years younger. I didn’t know about it until the late 1980s. I think people just didn’t talk about, I really only knew of it by word of mouth.

I remember my noticeably pregnant friend visiting me at college being told by a young woman, in their shared elevator, that she would never be able to become pregnant. It would have been in 1974.

No, many remember it. They are primarily women over seventy. Maybe doctors don't. It carries on through the patient's daughters, sons, and grands, however. It's not gone.

DES was also used in agriculture as a growth promoter for livestock for human consumption. I believe in certain parts of the world it still is. Meaning esp. with globalization of the food supply we've all probably had a micro dose or a lot more in our lifetimes if we ever ate anything animal based, or plants that were grown using animal shit as fertilizer. Horrifying. Reading about DES and the genetic damage it did to the original women who were dosed with it makes me wonder about other carcinogens and their effects down the generations, actually. For example, soot. Horrific carcinogen - child chimney sweeps who worked naked suffered and died from raging cancers of the groin and genitalia, often before adulthood. Was one of the reasons laws were brought in, first to allow them to wash once a week and remove the soot, and then eventually legislation banning the practice. But everyone in individualized societies breathed in soot in the air and was exposed to it in various ways. It coated buildings. It was everywhere. Coal fires in every house. Lung disease was rampant, but I also wonder at the mass genetic damage it may have caused that we are seeing 200 years later.

When and how do we start finding these parents legally and morally responsible for creating unhealthy and potentially tragic circumstances for "their own" babies? This is a widespread social problem for vulnerable infants, not just with "transmen" who get pregnant "by mistake" becoming parents (how can we call them mothers?). Of course the doctors involved in any of this should be struck off, for starters, and go to jail (imo). Thank you, Ex, as always, for exposing this stuff.

When a baby is crying 4 hours a day every day even I should know that should be checked out, and I don't have any kids.

Does it cost money for babies to see a doctor over there? Perhaps she didn't have any money to care for the child after she spent so much on herself.

There is a program called WIC, stands for woman infants and children. But maybe she didnt want to take advantage of that since she doesnt consider herself to be a Woman

That literally may have happened. Prisha Mosley, still legally male, ran into that problem.

Not in a good mood. Here's the Akron Pride Festival which is fine until you let little kids carry the trans flag. I grew up there, home of the All American Soap Box Derby and the Sojourner Truth Museum among other things. https://www.akronpridefestival.org/

This caught me off guard. This is something that makes me crazy - People who won't pick up a baby when it's upset. It doesn't matter why. Guess what? New parents are exhausted because it's a 24 hour commitment. I get actually Triggered by watching parents who have to show the baby who's in charge. It's fkng sad. Elliot has no love to give to that little girl. Elliot speaks about her like she's a puppy. I'm the oldest of seven children. I'm the mother of a son who I lost to a heroin OD. I love every baby in the world. Unconditionally. I would rather be stuck with five crying babies than one whining adult. This breaks my heart. After age three and four, most kids don't want to be picked up that much. It passes. The simplist solution there ever was to a problem - picking up a crying baby. This broke my heart. I do not fkg like this person.

Salem deserves to be held as much as she needs to. imo.

This is so disgusting on so many levels. That preening, posing narcissist who is so "feminine" but pretending to be male now has a baby she could care less about. It's common sense that taking strong drugs and particularly hormones that can so alter people would have unknown but terrible lifelong harmful effects on a fetus. There is the DES and other histories to learn from, but also plain common sense. I was going to say "what is wrong with these selfish women" but we already know so much other harm they are doing. She should be in jail for this....

Elliot doesn't seem to care much for her baby. I would bet that Salem has NOT seen a licensed speech therapist. This is so sad.

Expand full comment

To clarify. It took months for Elliot to finally treat her baby's hemangioma. Months of screaming every day for 4 hours or more. FINALLY Elliot acts after blood gets all over everything. I myself NEVER thought about speech therapy. I might go to my pediatrician if my baby didn't seem to be progressing naturally. BUT I would have gone after the first day of screaming. If it takes blood and months of screaming for Elliot to act--then speech therapy will NOT be on her radar.

How do we go from a culture with warning signs against drinking and smoking while pregnant to cavalierly exposing a fetus to synthetic hormones?

This travesty should be publicized far and wide; it seems to supply the most potent evidence that the gender woo must be stopped immediately.

No baby is crying for 4-7hrs for no reason!! Even parents of a first child should come to that conclusion quite quickly.. Crying is communication to tell the mom that sth doesn‘t feel right! A mother around not caring about what might be wrong is communication to the baby too. It arrives at the baby as „I‘m not safe“😢😢😢 Very sad! The baby was obviously not planned but that doesn‘t mean you can go on like it wasn‘t there!! SMH! If you want to prevent pregnancy, do sth to prevent, don‘t just assume you‘re a man now, so nothing will happen and anyway it doesn‘t add up in trans logic either bc don‘t they say men can get pregnant?! I‘m scared of what we will see in the next 10yrs… Very worried for more confusion affecting innocent beings like Salem. I mean it, not joking, not meaning it as a hateful comment either but as true concern!!

For those who like me don't know: Diethylstilbestrol (DES) is a synthetic form of the female hormone estrogen. It was prescribed to pregnant women between 1940 and 1971 to prevent miscarriage, premature labor, and related complications of pregnancy.

It’s unfortunate that intense studies aren’t being done on this given how many trans-identifying female young adults there are now.
