This is Channel 4, not BBC, but your points still stand, as C4 is also publicly owned (though, unlike the BBC, it's commercially funded).

The identity crisis is real with Finn. She appears to possibly be a butchish lesbian, method acting as a hairy gay bear. Being ones authentic self shouldn't involve surgeons or payment. A woman can never 'authentically' be a man. There are alot of people on board with this crap, for them to even make this horrifying piece of television. This is utterly mawkish.

But isn't Finn's partner a man?

Yes, i think so? But as North Country rightly says, can we be sure? Testosterone is a hell of a drug. The butch lesbian to hairy gay man pipeline?

Anna Ryder Richardson is a ghoul to take part in this. Is she still with Sue Perkins? So Sue must be on board the trans train true which is very sad.

Is Finn opposite sex attracted now? She presents so much like a gay man.

'I can achieve orgasm in exactly the same way as a cis man would do' - what a LIAR she is!

I had 2 teen boys and a tween girl stay with me and all 3 were told at school and believed that even doctors couldn't tell without lab tests. When I mentioned how many we could easily tell with they said it was the old methods and drugs and you had to decide by 13 for best results. Fortunately none of them were interested in these procedures.

I think they split up. I always liked Sue!

Richardson does love to take presenting jobs on these dubious 'naked' shows. They've had 'trans' people before on that contemptable 'Naked Attraction' show that she fronts. Ironic that this show exists really, considering the TRA's are always banging on about 'genital fetishists' who don't want to sleep with them because of their peen or lack thereof!

A doctor convinces a woman to get pump-up breasts. She can use her thumbs to close the valves and wave her elbows up and down, inflating them, or depress the valves to deflate them. When she has healed from the surgery she goes to a bar and spots a handsome man alone there. She starts pumping up her breasts and asks him "Have we met before?"

He looks at her and begins pumping his legs together repeatedly, Thighmaster-style, and replies "I dunno, maybe down at the clinic?"

(That joke was funnier in the 1980s when the shoes were made with pumps in them.)

This OTOH is gruesome, like watching flagellants.

She has no knowledge whatsoever of how a man reaches and feels orgasm, her scars don't seem to have healed that well from the mastectomy, not sure if she was a heavy woman but she's definitely a heavy woman larping as a man. This is on a par with I am jazz, continuously selling and pushing the trans cult, even Jaron looks upset and bored with this crap. Encouraging another woman to do what you have done finn is sentencing her to a lifetime of surgeries and drugs, your body language says no bug your traitor bought mouth says yes, shame on you, groomer

Hi Exulansic, I've been following your videos for a while, I really enjoy the scientific angle you bring on a lot of these topics.

I hope you don't mind me messaging you, but I wanted to ask if you were aware of any research into transgender identification amongst people with Kallmann syndrome?

My brother was diagnosed with Kallmann syndrome as a teenager, and has been receiving monthly testosterone injections since then (diagnosed at age 15, now aged 34).

What I'm realising based on some of what you've talked about with puberty blockers, puberty is not entirely based on receiving what are considered the main sex hormones of testosterone or estrogen, but there are a number other hormones involved.

This has led me to think that somebody with Kallmann syndrome may be in a similar situation to somebody who took puberty blockers as an adolescent - only from my experience that he was always more childlike than an adult.

Anyway - I'm bringing this up because last year he decided he was transgender, I took a trip down the rabbit hole and here we are.

That's a lot of information, apologies if I'd not made sense and this seems like a brain dump!

If they were going to do a program like this they should have shown ALL aspects. Including the videos of Finn upset every time things went wrong. I didn't watch the program, but from these clips it looks like they are presenting a dangerous, complex, procedure as if it's a simple appendectomy.

Thank you for covering the skin tube.

I saw it on Twitter and was shocked that this show with full frontal nudity even exists. But ultimately, the sight of Finn’s skin tube didn’t even register as a phallus in my brain at all. It’s like looking at a stuffed animal of a dog and being told it’s a real dog. Just: no. It’s a lifeless flesh tube that looked less realistic to me than a silicon dildo would have.

Malcolm Clark posted a video of young, pre-T Finn on Twitter that was bizarre. Finn had just been to a local barber for a buzz cut, and she acted as though entering a barbershop was a brave, earthshattering experience coz she seemed to think babershops are places where only penis people are allowed to enter and thus no female person in history has ever set foot in one. Even though Finn says in the video that the person who greeted her when she walked into the barbershop was a young woman who worked there, Finn acted as though she had stepped into a holy shrine of maleness where females have always been forbidden to go. Sort of like a non-Muslim that the Saudis allowed to visit Mecca. She was so awed by going inside a babersharp that she said she was trembling and shaking the whole time she sat in the barber chair and the barber was working on her hair. She was remarkably proud of herself for having braved the journey and scaled the fortress walls.

The extent to which people like Finn are totally fixated on narrow, rigid sexist sex stereotypes is mind-boggling to me. I'm an bog-standard women who is neither "gender conforming" nor "gender nonconforming" - my personal style has varied, but mostly it's been low maintenance - and I've gone into barbershops myriad times at various junctures in my lifetime. I've had my own hair cut in barbershops many times - starting when I was a little girl in the 1950s. I never thought this was a revolutionary act. Nor did I ever feel like going into a barbershop was a big effing deal, akin to flying in a private jet or being allowed into the VIP section of an exclusive club where "my kind" wasn't usually permitted to enter.

“Have you ever heard somebody talk about their cancer surgery like this?”

Very good point. Cancer surgery is *true* life saving surgery, but no one talks about it like this. The people who *do* talk about surgery this way are plastic surgery addicts. https://www.addictioncenter.com/drugs/plastic-surgery-addiction/
