I do not know the exact reason for this. But the main contenders, not having any accesss to Kim’s medical history besides what’s publicly available online, which includes puberty blockers and vaginoplasty as a minor, are scar tissue in the pelvis from the surgery or something called a slipped femoral cap. A slipped femoral cap is when the head of the femur basically deforms due to, as far as I understand as a non-MD, the lack of bone density-enabling sex steroids during a critical period of development when the mechanical load on the femoral cap was increasing due ot growth hormone.
