Are Noah & the fiancée both trans?

Seems like it.

The way Noah “wrote poems to the fiancée every single day” is SUCH a lesbian thing to do!! Women usually have that depth of emotion and thoughtfulness whereas men are more likely to show their love through doing something for the person they love, like building a cabinet or buying something.

(I know these are gender role specific and they work for the majority of each gender but I know there are outliers.)

Noah’s mother is FREAKISHLY SKINNY too!!! I wonder if it’s a Chron’s Disease type issue or a grave eating disorder. 😬😬 It makes sense that Noah would be on the trans train considering self harm clearly runs in the family.

How the hell is Gallagher still operating? What's wrong with the US health system?

unfortunately i can see how noah could be an aspirational image for young lesbians: so many would love a chance to just be accepted as a regular guy by the people around them (even if they’re just being nice) instead of having to be an “inverted” woman. to have a “normal” wedding instead of having to go against the grain in everything you do. it’s not right, but it’s how a lot of girls feel.

for every “noah”, there’s a lesbian who looks exactly like her, only her name is brittany, she still has her breasts, and she isn’t afraid to actually break society’s rules 🤣

What is interesting about this is, men feel this way too. e.g. we don't measure up so we're looked at technically as a guy but not one in full standing. The point behind this is, there can be a fantasy that simply checking the boxes gives you "full male privileges" but even being a male doesn't give you that. The responsibilities may be expected but other men figure out quickly if you're capable of it.

exactly, i believe that we women just don’t have gut-level access to the understanding of “how to be a real man in the eyes of other men,” because we’re not men and we can’t fake it. so when trans men are able to hide in groups of men (go stealth) they end up disgusted by male bonding and comraderie, and they either blame themselves for being trans or blame masculinity itself for being “toxic”.

You have a way with a phrase, Mathew: "a guy not in full standing", "other men figure out quickly if you're capable of it". I do enjoy your commentary.

I get the feeling that Gallagher is running an op to marry Neasa to one of the patients to both lock in her staff to the country and ideology as well as do a favor to Noah that puts them in debt.

They are all acting as cheerleaders for her. The whole dramatis personae are covering for her and promoting her.

That response video Ex posted in the middle makes this all the more horrific. I am inclined to believe Ex's cynical theory about trans doctors with Gallagher. Where they intentionally downplay complications because they are hoping that the patients just die. Saying a massive infection is not an infection could only be to allow sepsis to occur.

I can't find if they actually got married or not. Something tells me, no!

Jeanette is so utterly horrible, I can't believe people don't see this! She's an absolute monster. Of course, the whole family is non-stop abusive to Jazz, this whole thing is a nightmare to watch on so many levels!!! I feel so sorry for poor Jazz. Wonder what will happen? I can't see anything good coming out of this.

I think that narcissism is something people have to experience firsthand in order to believe it. When people haven't experienced it, they can't see it at all and fully buy the act IME.

I'm with you on that one, Ex. Really? Now y'all want to be the voice of reason and the health police? They all can phluck off. They ruined his chances of being a healthy man but they want to blame him for everything else?

Not only did the crew doing the shoot apparently get accommodated, but the tacky yellow 'water taxi' got an upgrade to business class. One sneer from Jeanette would have done that trick. I am glad not to have been included in this incestuous little party; it's hard enough just getting through this postmortem. The cornholing double entendre was so blatant. The screenwriters must have been 'poking' some not-so-gentle fun, huh? It was a cringe party.

I was wondering why Noah looked so familiar. I saw her tiktoks before, a few years ago. She was most posting about how she would be a better boyfriend than cis men. And to see in this show she's marrying her butcher's sister?? And close friends with Sander?? Is she just a Hollywood plant?

I’m cynical enough to believe that Noah’s mother had to be bribed with a cash offer by TLC producers to show up and play along with this farce. That may also be true of Jeanette’s “friends,” idk. It’s all orchestrated propaganda.

16:55 Jeanette had to make it about her, possibly because that was the only way to deal with the profound awkwardness of the whole situation.
