Always appreciate your insights. And of course, as one fighting on the front line of this insanity, I'm always looking for new combat strategies.
I do recommend Peter Boghossian's book, How to Have Impossible Conversations. So many techniques and strategies from hostage negotiations, cult deprogramming, and etc.
If one is fighting the "woke" takeover in your workplace or other groups, Pincourt's Counterwoke Craft is also a quick, strategic manual that I recommend.
That is a good idea to engage with complements. This is an insecure crowd searching to fit in. I also like using questions to jar the cognitive dissonance; this territory is rife with contradictions.
"Deprogramming" succeeds best when it leads the believer to confront the belief themselves. Thanks for this essay, I have been looking into the topic of cult de-indoctrination and your observations line right up with the literature. In fact I am developing the argument that the surest sign 'trans' is in fact a cult, is that people *can* be led out of it.
Before engaging in the Church of Trans, i spent a decade with Jehovah's Witless. The cults are experts at preying on spiritually vulnerable. Their children are indoctrinated since birth. Those are hardest to approach from ANY angle. They don't have any internal references outside the cult.
It takes alot of courage to leave a cult you were born into. Many of the Apostates fall victim to self destruction or into other cult-like structures. There's always hidden spots of thinking & reactions that Apostates must weed out as they make a completely new life. (shunned by own family, don't have skills interacting with non-cult people, have no money, cult openly cheers for their demise, etc..)
Sadly i have to use what i learned on my own adult children regarding the Church of Trans. They are 3 ftm from HS they still keep in touch with & "support". Their response is usually "it's none of your business! (terf!)".. same thing i heard about helping ex-JWs.
i will not sit & watch injured & hurting Brothers & Sisters struggle to find safe, healing pastures while wolves chase them. Spiritual Shackles bind us to decay. i want us all FREE.
another great piece from you Ex - however grim the outlook, your refusal to see this as a battle of disembodied ideas and principles, and insistence on treating people as people, is a real tonic. just a thought - is it not more useful to think of the trans movement as a sect rather than as a cult? Leaders emerge but are local and temporary, members indoctrinate themselves and each other, and the endgame is not withdrawal from mainstream society but its purification. The historical parallels that come to mind are the Cathars, or the Anabaptists of Munster - and I can't shake the uncanny coincidence of "Pride season" and the marching season in the parts of these islands where sectarianism still blights lives and communities.
This is awesome and came just at the right time. I have an adult autistic son, who, thank God, is beyond influence by transgenders (for the most part). We have dropped out of the autism support group in which we were active years ago. We just don't need it now. I went on to the new website and was SHOCKED to see that they have totally gone to bed with the trans ideology. I have said a few things, but I want to make a bigger pitch. Please make suggestions. Here's what I'm thinking, but it probably won't work: I want to offer to give a presentation at one of their board meetings. Long, if possible; short, if necessary. I want to have good leave-behind materials. I am working hard on this. Would love your thoughts.
My sister would fall under mediator which is just nuts to me because like I said before she is a rn in the biggest hospitals performing these surgeries. John Hopkins where John Money started his dirty work. Anyway we had a breakthrough recently where I reminded her I had these issues with myself and my body and she remembered me taping down my boobs and dressing as a boy and just feeling and being different. And I started to show her the countless amounts of human beings who underwent these surgeries and now will live a life of suffering if their lucky enough to not get sepsis and die. She then told me all the nurses are quitting she dosent know why but I think I do. In the past my sister and I both had issues with addiction and pills which obviously dosent go well with being rn. She spent years to earn her title and trust back with the board jumping through hoops and demoting herself and now all of a sudden they want her in the operating room and she’s at a loss. I think this was a big step at her seeing I’m not hateful. I had the same blind sympathy that she has until I dug deeper into the rabbit holes of trans ness. Mostly because this could have been me or even my step daughter had I been a idiot mother or had a idiot mother. Or if I had been born later who knows.

Sorry I missed your SWS presentation this year.

Thank you for this. I've read it a few times over and I'm planning to make use of it .
