Progesterone and estrogen are also both known to promote the development of adenomas, which means all the single ladies on hormonal birth control should be aware of this as well.

Why just single?

You win my prize for obscure condition - pituitary apoplexy. I understood what it was just from the word combination, but it certainly never occured to me the poor gland could die simply by being partially turned off.

I hope the files have a huge impact. This should create protesters swarming any trans-related events.

Youngest case I could find in the literature was from lupron was 22 (and was taking it for egg donation). First shot, now she's disabled from brain damage.

the process of stimulating the ovaries in order to withdraw eggs is very, very dicey. it hasn't been shown to be safe in terms of for example future cancer. reproductive medicine docs don't seem to want to talk about that. it has been shown, apparently, to damage some women's ovaries. so women who "donate" { = sell ] their own eggs have been known to have difficulty getting pregnant later because the needle hitting the ovary to withdraw eggs can have the effect of scarring the ovary tissue.

I have a lot of ethical concerns all the way around. I'm a libertarian who happens to believe that, even according to most biological scientists, the marker that makes the most sense for the beginning of a new human being is conception. So naturally I don't agree with freezing fertilized eggs any more than I believe in keeping the clinically dead artificially alive.

Holy. That’s so sad. As someone with a friend who just died from cancer…the thought of people gambling their lives/doctors gambling young people’s lives like this is just…incomprehensible. Why risk your one body.

i'm sick of this shit. i've spent most of my life fighting for learning disabled children, mentally handicapped adults & hunting pedos. .. NEVER, in my wildest dreams did i think medical field would do this shit.

mentally ill, me, knows psychiatrists & psychologists are JUST AS SCREWED UP as their WORST patients .. but this ACTIVE destruction of mind, body, soul .. is PURE EVIL.

I learned as a small child to avoid the medical system (including the "mental health" side) as much as possible from my aunt, who was & still is a registered RN (now retired, but still maintains her license)

Unfortunately i have spent YEARS in hospitals (starting age 4 until 19) & Psych Wards (age 35 to 45) your aunt is correct. they're just people. they're (90%) not smarter or special. vast majority are akin to Car Salesman except they're selling "legal" drugs. it's a scam.

my Olde Tyme family refused Official medical interventions unless they were in extreme circumstances. i USED to think they were silly .. until i paid attention.

I even believe in not having health insurance so they won't want to do much if I should wind up in a hospital unable to speak for myself. I advocated avoiding hospitals altogether if you got Covid, lest they refuse to administer proper treatment before sticking you on a ventilator to finish you off for the federal dollars.

Correct! save the Fed money payback for extreme & costly interventions .. like surgeries .. have no wealth on paper .. hospitals get reimbursed. our GP showed my family how to get FREE Healthcare in a "capitalist" society.

There really is all kinds of charity out there if you know who to ask for help- I even know a long time alcoholic who, with a little help from my aunt (the nurse) to point him in the right direction, received donated liver treatments worth around 100K with nothing more than proof of his inability to afford it along with his word that he would quit drinking. He went on to find a nice, non-drinking lady & settled down to a sober life.

As you know I'm bracha 2 positive. I got the cancer gene from my father. Any extra hormones can increased my already increased risk of some cancers. It's only a matter of time until we hear about a bracha positive teen getting cancer. I hope this one was alright.

Would I be right in saying that genspect aren’t against transgenderism as such, but they are in opposition to the “affirmation model” and medicalisation, but instead promote therapy and a return to watchful waiting, especially in the case of children? With any medicalisation being only available for informed adults? It would be better than it is now and collating evidence of harm is needed, but for many people it doesn’t go far enough. No one can change sex and the medical industry is profiteering from a harmful lie. If the men hadn’t pushed for female spaces and they hadn’t aggressively lobbied our institutions, I don’t think anyone much would have taken any notice, but they did and we have noticed, so men in dresses stand out like a sore thumb, especially when they are where we don’t expect them to be. Phil in the dress may have brought some clarity.

These procedures need to be outlawed completely, for adults as well, because there are unscrupulous doctors out there who actively prey on the mentally ill. As the WPATH Files amply demonstrate.

Last I heard, Genspect or people associated with Genspect were advocating for a minimum age of 25 because that is the average age if brain development into adulthood.

As a constitutional libertarian I tend to err on the side of personal freedom for adults (which is why I oppose recreational drug prohibition). But I don't agree that doctors should be free to medically experiment on physically healthy bodies of other adults just because the patient agrees to it.

Sometimes we need protecting from ourselves and we definitely need protecting from the weirdos at wpath. So yep, I agree. Generally it’s said people should be free to do what they want, so long as it doesn’t harm anyone else. What the doctors are doing and profiting from is harmful. Harmful medical practices have been banned before, these ones will be too.

Awful. The thing that jumped out at me is how the doctor wants to continue "treatment" as much as possible despite the tumors. "Our patient has liver tumors, but we'll totally do a cosmetic mastectomy while they're undergoing treatment to reduce them. That's a reasonable medical thing to do."

Would love to see you do a full commentary on the WPATH files. I just finished reading the editorial (first 70 pages), and starting to read through the files themselves. It is incredibly damning. In a sane world it should be enough to discredit the entire organization. They are admitting that they are not truly gaining consent of minors, children, mentally ill people and parents. Giving “treatments” to people with DID or psychosis (as long as it’s no active during the doctor’s visit). Admitting that they ultimately don’t see the need for a child’s consent for anything. Discussing how they can branch out into non-“transgender” but GNC kids, offering hormones and surgery as the same as a different set of clothes in order to show off your unique body/identity. Talking about how male children can identify as eunuchs. Admitting that, much like Jazz Jennings, puberty blocked male children ARE in fact made to be eunuchs due to never gaining the ability to orgasm. None of their “standards of care” are remotely based on any scientific evidence or sounds clinical trials. They admit it’s all an unregulated, massively unethical experiment on children and vulnerable adults. In medicine, even if a disease has a 100% fatality rate and you’ve invented a literal cure, you’re required to actually go through with clinical trials to show safety and efficacy. None of this has ever been done. They’re actively blocking study because they know damn well what it will reveal.
