I am pretty shocked at what passes for a study. I knew the methodology of these studies was poor - and that they tend to suggest accuracy by applying statistics to responses gained from inaccurate surveys on small sample sizes - but it is worse than I imagined, and quite obviously sexist. The bias of the researchers is so apparent and the holes in their reasoning pretty clear even to me. This is all such a scam at the expense of mentally ill young women. A lot of them will never want to believe they have been conned because of the sunk cost fallacy.
Kind of like "alternative medicine." There is no such thing. There's only "medicine."
