a disturbed person is vulnerable enough to open up to someone he ought rationally to know might not be safe for him. the person listens to him. then arrests him. the same disturbed person possibly then seeks to re-enact the same drama, only playing the other part.

Ugggh. Is there a member list attached to his "student organization"? Anyone agreeing with this pedophile needs to be on a watch list. Predators.

I could not find a student organization with "lonely bears" in the name and it appears to also be the name of a card game, and he came to Cal for a reason with that sign. The URL points to his youtube. IRL phishing by piggybacking on the two brands IMO. He's just posted a second video to his Twitter basically arguing that since some kids skip grades they're smart enough to let him touch them.

Just wondering whether the university has any power over who can be on campus and who can’t?

Amazing that paedophiles are not even bothering to hide their perversions anymore ,thanks to this " social justice" movement. What will it take to wake up the general public ? Kids are in danger ,from both predators and the gender industry. Shocking 😭. Well done , Exulansic ,for continuing to expose this and total shame to those who are trying to silence you. THEY are a disgrace.❤️👍

If you read Abigail Shrier's latest, California is becoming The Sex Trafficking State and the welcoming of "LGBT youth" is part of that process. Wiener already got a bill through the legislature that 14-year-olds can have sex with someone within 10 years of their age, and the adult is not guilty of anything.

Age of consent is still 18 in California. What the law does is make it a wobbler for heterosexual and homosexuals whereas previously it was a wobbler for heterosexuals only. if you have a source that contradicts this LMK but no he didn't lower the age of consent to 14.

You are of course absolutely correct, but it sounds as though that age of consent is not enforced.

"Consider the Wiener-authored SB 145, a 2020 measure that amended the sex-offender registration laws in California, so that an adult having anal or oral sex with a minor could avoid getting placed on the sex-offender registry, as long as the child was at least 14 and the adult was no more than a decade older.

"Defenders of the law have noted that there has long been judicial latitude in California in whether to place perpetrators of statutory rape on the sex-offender registry, if the crime involved was vaginal intercourse with a minor, the minor was at least 14, and the offender was within ten years of her age. Wiener’s bill extends such potential leniency in sentencing to statutory rape involving anal or oral sex."

I agree that statutory rape should land someone on a sex offender registry. IMO at most 2 year age gap should be permitted. So 17 and 19 year olds maybe not, but 16 and 19 year old should.

Years ago (back when I was reading Counterpunch before it became Counterputsch as someone termed it) there was an article by TWO WOMEN (were they women?) about the need to get rid of the sex offender registry! All the work women had done to get a sex offender registry down the drain? Ye gods, no!

I saw a short documentary recently about a sex offender “town” in Florida. Apparently, it is getting to be all the more difficult for sex offenders to find places to live that meet the conditions of parole and probation, away from schools, etc. so that this large RV park could actually specialize in housing these residents. The film had a bit of the “Minor Attracted Person” apologist tone to it, too. There’s a housing crisis going on for people who aren’t sex offenders, so my sympathy is spare, but the pressure to normalize sexual violence is very real and coming from places of real political power, to be sure.

I was one of those 'very mature' kids that pedos like to talk about. At 12 I looked 16 and could superficially behave like an adult. So absusive adults around me used that as evidence that I could be treated more brutally than other kids, because they reasoned that I didn't need the same protection as smaller less intelligent kids. But I was totally a child. I had the same vulnerability and naivety and emotional instability as any child. I got abused a lot, and it really fucked me up for many years, and that is true regardless of whether I had breasts and could superficially discuss world events.

I was also one of those smart/mature kids and I think what helped me avoid trouble was that I had a father who basically taught me to trust no one ever (except him, of course). So, it helped me avoid predators - I can recall a few people I now realize were probably trying to lure me in - though it also caused some issues when it came time to make actual friend and romantic attachments (yay for therapy).

This is really difficult to watch. Only 30 seconds in and I'm having to take a break.

Recently have read some apologist statements about a drag queen in Cardiff who died in an alley the other week, they say he was murdered, have arrested a man and have released him on caution. Anyway, when he was 16 he was arrested for 4 counts of rape of a 14yr old boy. The number of people saying it isn't pedophilia if it is between children is disgusting. Do people really think children cannot rape and forever traumatise another child just because they are children too? Age of consent in UK is 16 ...so. He was sentenced to 3 years in young offenders facility and put on the sex offenders register. Some years later he was again arrested for breaching the order not to work with children when he took a coaching job ...with children. He was again sentenced to a 3 year sex offender program, electric tagging etc. Clearly whatever he was prosecuted for in 1999 was serious enough for the judge to give him another decent punishment, does not sync with what people are saying now about how it was probably consensual between the boys and likely that the victim's family were homophobic and even the victim had homophobia due to social pressures ergo the report of the rape and subsequent conviction.

Really?

Apologies for the rant. Fuck pedophiles and every single one of their apologists.

"A proper adult can educate their children about all the entanglements of sex." 🚩🚩🚩

He is NOT that proper adult. Proper adults educate their children about avoiding paedophiles like him. Proper adults educate their children about sex WITHOUT actually having sex with them. He's vile.

"I know it when I see it." Wonder what Justice Potter Stewart would have thought about the creeps we allow around our children, about the pedophilia apologists and enablers in schools.
