Definitely as well as the psychiatric meds and any underlying illness she had that led to the medications, and just being a 16 year old with enough of a trauma history that her grandma formally adopted her. She had the deck stacked against her and should have had more support from the school for behavior, from the sound of it. Maybe a one to one would have prevented this.
Whatever the reason , a child died, and it's a tragedy. Why does it need to be politicized and swung like a cudgel to attack others? People almost seem gleeful about being to use this death for their advantage.
I agree this never should have been exploited. People were blaming Libs of Tiktok just because Chaya Raichik once criticized a teacher at Dagny's school. I want to know who first was pushing this narrative she was beaten to death in the bathroom. In engaging with this, I've told myself that I'm doing it for the girls being unfairly maligned as murderers who would have beaten someone to death, and raising awareness about CPR, but my preference would be for this to not be national news.
You do also refer to her as a "woman" at the video's close, but you state in a caption that she was a "child." I weep for this sick world where a teen throwing water on someone at school is somehow a high crime.
I do wish you had appeared a bit more compassionate toward Dagny bc no child anywhere deserves to die before their time. I agree that the 3 other girls ought not to be smeared. I also wonder if she had covid recently or a recent booster, as this can also cause clots. This poor young woman was FAILED.
So in my view, (assuming this was a slow head injury or somehow related to the altercation).she is dead because adults in her life said what you're saying now: it is no big deal to throw water on a group of people to express your feelings towards them. However, it was clearly a big deal. I made the inference after uploading this, but did you consider that she may not have slipped, had she not made the floor wet? Throwing water is actually not a safe thing to do even if you are doing it for reasons other than to start a fight you don't expect to win. And yes you are correct, girl was likely the appropriate choice, however even 16 year olds can be legally emancipated. It's possible COVID or a vaccine played a role or that a blood clot was the cause of death.
too much information is being withheld regarding event at school & hospital (we got CCTV & Cop Cam edited interview) .. Reasonable Doubt in full effect.
it's excruciatingly clear that children are being used for Gender Identity religion.
It's horrible how deaths of children (like with Brianna Ghey) are ghoulishly leapt on to further a politucal narrative. And how cruel to make the other girls out to be murderers
It's quite apparent from the MSM coverage that the "LGBTQAlphabet community" at the school martyrized Dagny because it fit their political needs. That picture emerges from the early reports targeting the principal for his policy, the quotes from the "boyfriend" (girlfriend?) who is trans, and the cult leader-slash-teacher making it all about "saving the trans kids" before Dagny's body was even cold.
This is probably from watching way too many true crime docs, but I had this thought - admittedly, I'm going way out on a limb here, but here it is:
I watched the whole ER interview and also listened to that 911 call and it made me wonder if it finally occurred to Grandma Sue the gravity of the situation for Nex and maybe didn't intervene with CPR because she thought if it looked like Nex was very badly hurt, it would somehow show that the other kids were the awful ones. "Look how badly they hurt my kid!! "
Going ever further out onto that limb, I also wondered if Sue somehow upped Nex's evening meds to try and trigger a bad reaction and it went too far. If either case is true, I don't think she intended to actually kill Nex, but maybe was hoping for a situation that would look really bad.
That whole "I'm a nurse...I went to nursing school" from Sue indicates to me that she never actually worked as a nurse - the first part of the statement should suffice if one is, in fact, a working nurse. She probably never finished or passed the necessary licensing exams.
I just realized I had the above thoughts before seeing your video, Ex, but I did see some other online reactions saying that what Sue was reporting on 911 was not typical of head injury. Now I get how head injury->stroke or clot->reported symptoms could happen, so thanks for the additional insights (as always)!
I see that once the police body cam videos were released, the TQers are now silent, even some celebrities aren't continuing to talk about it on social media.
Thank you for this Ex. It brings a more complete picture than first hit headlines. Also more possibilities come to mind on reflection, such as the floor being slippery. The medical examiner’s report will contribute materially.
I hadn't followed this one, but what a total mess. A teen's death used to promote an agenda. What a sad shitshow. I've been watching a lot of police interrogation videos recently -- as a break from politics, believe it or not! It's made me very alert to people who are far too calm in highly stressful situations, and Grandma Sue is very suspicious. In any case, it seems like a sad needless death that has been politicized, and to me Dex and Granny Sue seemed like not very nice people. Just a sad situation in which a lot of mistakes were made, stupid decisions which led to a needless death. It is very unclear how much Granny Sue's indifference had to do with the actual death; she may have been able to save Dex, had she made any effort.
I knew the moment that they aired this story how vague they were about who did this, then it quickly went from a vague boogie man to 3 girls, that something was up. If it was a boy, a white boy or even a white girl, or girls, we would have never stopped hearing about who was the perpetrator(s) and known their identities quickly, then more keeps coming out that doesn't fit the narrative of a poor picked on trans kid.
I hope they protect the girls who are being blamed this has got to be terrifying for them as well. I did also some "reports" from "activists" who have coopted this for their own grandstanding that she was in the in school suspension class before this thing in the bathroom, but then would also explain continually that she was a straight A student? I was often in the in school suspension class when I was in school, I was not a straight A student, and I don't recall seeing any of the smart studious types in there either so I am suspecting that if she was in some kind of in school punishment she might have more behavior problems than they are letting on? Good assessment, I am sure we are all going to learn way more despite how much they keep trying to stop people from learning details and paint this as some kind of hate crime.
I've been arguing the same thing among friends, but they get very defensive saying the only possible cause of death was having her head slammed into the bathroom floor - which yes would of course hurt her - but that doesn't take away other factors that may have contributed and ultimately ended up being the deadly combo for her. That can be important to know to prevent future deaths like hers. It's a tragic story either way, but I also think it's important to not call what was a 2 vs 3 fight where everyone walked away seemingly fine, a brutal murder done with targeted bigoted intent.
Imo she hit her head because she chose to pour water on these girls to start a fight, and gravity then put the water on the floor. I am not saying she deserved to die, but there's such a thing as natural consequences. This is why you don't tell teenagers it isn't assault if you use water.
Thank you for covering this!. The body cam video was suggested on YouTube because I watch a lot of court cases. I thought, ok she started a fight and lost and Grandma doesn't want to believe it. Then I read the comments and saw all this nonsense about protecting "our non binary babies" and I had to look it up. I was furious at the media coverage because clearly she's the bully. Any death of a child is tragic and I'm not hating on her at all, just the fake trans outrage.
She's agonal breathing and her hands are rolled up in "stroke" posture and the former nurse says she's fine. And the 911 operator didn't catch that either. wtf
Excellent summary and observations. Thank you.
Any chance that the testosterone she might have been on caused her to be oversensitive and start a fight?

Ive been a 1 to 1. You dont go into the bathroom with them
This is my suspicion as well.
"Not baking with a full pan." I'll have to remember that one.
I also like "she's only saving to the local drive" because only some people get why that's bad.

SARS2/Covid also may have affected grandma’s (and/or the 911 operator’s) response when CPR was warranted but neither were able to recognize it https://jneuroinflammation.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12974-023-02857-z

You can tell that they`re not oppressed because of the media narratives that say they are
