Dr. Gallagher Pays Out Part of $500,000.00 Liability Settlement
See correction - she did have insurance at the time.
Correction: Dr Gallagher settled for $500,000. She and her insurance paid $124,999.00 and a state fund paid the remainder reported to Florida of $375,001.00. We regret this error in reporting.
==================================
This is for all you victimized, defrauded detransitioners out there who are scared to sue your surgeons because they do not carry malpractice insurance.

We do not know the circumstances of this lawsuit. Since reporting it was mandatory, it is reasonable to conclude it pertained to her practice as a gender-affirming top and bottom surgeon. Though some object to my use of terms like top and bottom surgery, they are categories that reflect a variety of procedures that in this case, given the surgeon, it could have been. She has said she does not carry malpractice insurance, and this liability reporting further suggests that she paid the entire settlement herself in September of this year 2024. Those are some deep pockets.
Not only has this not stopped her, it has not even gotten her off of Tiktok. Here is a video posted late last week in which she details how she gets insurance to pay more than they would pay if she were in-network.
And she’s not the only surgeon doing this. Who knows how much she’s raking in?
For some insight into that, I will mention another surgeon, who I will not yet name, but that episode will piss you all off. The victim in that case received top surgery from another top surgeon I’ve covered. That surgeon (not Gallagher) got insurance to approve the out-of-network benefit, somehow without clarifying an upper limit on how much they would pay out. Presumably, this is because the insurance policy suggested these procedures were covered 100%, but I am speculating at this time, awaiting further documentation. The documentation I have seen so far is in agreement with Dr. Gallagher’s scheme described in this video. Get approval for out-of-network procedure, then bill the insurer an obscene amount of money. In the other case I will detail further in a future post, the surgeon billed over $200,000 for removing two healthy breasts, and were paid in full. For reference, female-to-male top surgery radical mastectomy usually costs under $20,000.
If you were wondering why your premiums were so high, this loophole in regulatory oversight is perhaps part of why. The entire system is set up to self-lubricate, because everyone involved, including politicians, including the schools that educate professionals, including the banks that lend money to the professionals to get educated, gets a share of what you paid for your true medical necessities.
This woman has no morals whatsoever. Isn't she the one who operates on women who are too overweight for surgery? I remember reading about a surgeon who removed the breasts of an overweight woman who then had serious problems healing as I think the stitches kept coming apart. The surgeon eventually ended up ghosting her. That sounds just like Gallagher. The victim had a huge ordeal and shared the horrors.
Why the $1 in the $375K case? Why in hell would an insurer agree to $200K for a mastectomy, even a fancy-pants "gender affirming" version? They must have a "usual cost" guidebook, yes?
