I bet that in the flesh some of these transformations come across as very uncanny valley and I feel bad for people who are gaslit into believing they are imagining things since some of these transitioners will insist that they were born as the sex they are pretending to be.
After this video the one of a woman illustrating the victim narrative of that man who was arrested for being in a women's room played. I can't remember that man's name but the pouty face seems to be his specialty, and his plaint "I am somebody's child" is so nuts. Does he think that some of the people in prison are *not* somebody's child?
Marcy is comically manipulative. I think he thinks he's coming across as HSTS but he's not at all. He's got a lot of rage towards women and a sense of entitlement to manipulate women's emotions with the most balls out shamelessness one can imagine.

Think of the people who really need surgery because of traffic accidents or congenital abnormalities. I am sure that surgeons could make better use of their time treating them instead of deluded narcissists.

Plus we can't ignore the hangover of pain and discomfort, especially where the head, face, mouth are concerned, SO many nerve endings, blood vessels. Plus the hangover hangover! She is only a few weeks post. It's going to take months before she sees what she's going to wind up with. I do think an observation made in an earlier post is very apt...it's being noted more and more openly that the vast majority of trans-identified people affecting the appearance of the opposite sex cannot even begin to pass as they go about their daily lives in the real world. So now we have, amongst other interventions, face-altering surgeries being sold widely to supposedly help with this serious roadblock, to help the trans-identified pass in line at the pharmacy as well as online in a podcast. What can we expect from this? Probably more of what's been happening, only with the face: lots of bad surgeries because this kind of extensive restructuring done well is a specialty of only a few plastic surgeons, and just not that many people can afford Kim Kardashian's surgeon, even if their insurance company has been forced to cover the surgery under trans care. And bad facial surgery of this sort translates into trans-people walking around with faces straight out of the uncanny valley that are going to unnerve those around them even more; and those people will be the ones who don't experience the absolute disasters, the mistakes, complications, infections, all of which we already commonly see now resulting from gender medicine.
Old age is not going to be kind to a face stripped of buccal fat and stuffed with implants. I feel as though long-term thinking has been completely jettisoned in our population. Everyone wants what they want right now and will break whatever needs to be broken in order to get it, forgetting that instant gratification usually has immense costs for our future selves.

When you know the "tells" of appearance for women who ideate a male persona and men who ideate a female persona, the concept of "passing" evaporates.
