Youtube issues warning, does not warn that deleting content after an appeal cancels the appeal
My conversation with youtube creator support who I'm 99% sure is a chatbot and not a human.
If anyone knows for sure the answer to my question and is a human, please let me know if it differs from the below:
================================================
Hi my name is Malen, how are you doing today?
Malen · 7:40 PM
Hi, I got a warning for a video I uploaded. I appealed the warning because I do not believe my video violated policy. However, I then deleted the content to show good faith. But now it says I can't appeal it if I deleted it. Will the appeal still process because I appealed prior to deleting it? Seeking clarification. It did not warn me that deleting it might affect the appeal. I do not plan to upload it again because I want to stay well within the guidelines.
but i would prefer the warning be removed because I do not believe this video violated guidelines because it was not intended to sexually gratify and I blurred the nudity

No problem.
Malen · 7:45 PM
I just want to know if my appeal is still in progress even though I subsequently removed the content in question, thinking that would show good faith and willingness to work with Youtube. I didn't know it might affect my appeal.
it's saying both things on my creator studio

Allow me to explain that Community Guidelines are the rules of the road for how to behave on YouTube. If your content violates our Community Guidelines, your channel will get a strike.
We understand mistakes happen and you don’t mean to violate our policies — that’s why the first violation is typically only a warning.
You only get one warning, and this warning remains on your channel. The next time your content is found to violate the Community Guidelines, you'll get a strike.
Malen · 7:54 PM
I really appreciate that. I want to follow the rules.
7:55 PM
M
I know where you are coming fom.
However, deleting the video will not resolve the strike. If you delete your video, the strike will remain on your channel and you won't be able to appeal again.
Malen · 7:56 PM
right I did not understand that. but I appealed first before deleting it.
Did that cancel the appeal? I didn't understand that.
I did not expect it to resolve the strike that's why I appealed first
I was startled to receive the warning and should have contacted support first but I didn't know it would affect the appeal
is the appeal I submitted before it was deleted in progress still?
7:59 PM
M
I know where you are coming from.
What you have is just a warinig.
Malen · 8:00 PM
thank you. do I have an appeal in progress?

The next time you violate our Community Guidelines, you will get a strike.

Malen · 8:02 PM
I do not think you understand the nature of my question. Does my account have an active appeal?
8:03 PM
M
II understand that, however, regardless if there's an appeal filed the video will no longer be reviewed since it has been deleted.
Malen · 8:06 PM
okay, is there a way to un-delete it? i want my appeal processed. I did not know it would have this effect.
8:06 PM
M
No, .
Malen · 8:07 PM
okay you should really have a warning that it will have this effect
because I had no idea
8:07 PM
M
we can no longer undo that.
Malen · 8:08 PM
okay thank you.

I think it could be a bot. But also could be a nonnative English speaker with a list of set replies to copy and paste from
Corporate businesses are hiding behind their chat bots whenever possible these days. I refuse to speak to one, but will exchange type. This seems like a dead machine to me!
