Hello from Madison, WI! I am here for the Sisters4Sisters conference and I have been having a blast. Thank you especially to my paid subscribers here and supporters on Ko-Fi.com/Exulansic and paypal.me/Exulansic, for making my attendance financially possible.
And thank you to the organizers of Sisters4Sisters, for forgiving my impure CAIS opinion after I fasted and wore only sack cloth and ashes, finally bringing to an end the purity spiral and sparing the radfems of Ninevah their prophesied destruction.
It was a bit of a nightmare to get out here, between two turbulent flights that made me briefly believe in Zeus again, for purposes of entreating divine stabilization of air currents and to explain the lightning, and a 4 hour delayover. I managed to record a new episode of the Vaginoplasty Volumes: “TP or not TP?” in Phoenix. This episode can be viewed on Odysee at Exulansic.com as well as rumble.com at the channel TT Exulansic. It can also be viewed here, on Substack!
First on the agenda, following an en suite breakfast, which I slept through, were the talks at the library. You can view this series of talks on Women’s Liberation Radio News, or below. Having watched this in person, I highly recommend every speech:
Because I am allegedly some sort of public menace figure, we went in the back door of the library to avoid the camouflaged crowd of counter-protestors. Several protestors were hiding behind unwashed bed sheets. When questioned as to why bed sheets, the camera-obscured purportedly said that the reason they had the sheets was that they were MINORS who were planning to flash and moon the wicked terfs. Perhaps the plan was to repulse us to the city limit with their testosterone-enhanced bottom hair?
I recall being in Turkey and being horribly embarrassed by similar behavior from the other Americans, who were mooning random people from the tour bus we shared, inflicting their adiposity onto poor mothers selling homemade or Chinese-imported scarves along the roadside in Kapadokya, a region full of a natural wonder known as ‘fairy chimneys.’ Fortunately, many people assured me: they assumed I was non-American due to my lack of misbehavior and general quiet demeanor. PHEW. These volcanic structures look more phallic than Jeff Bezos’ rocket, and for millennia, people in this region have hand-carved them into livable, multi-story homes. Once the footholds and doors are added, they look like phalloplasties with stitches and fistulas. I can’t unsee it.
Their reasoning did not make much sense to me, and no flashing attempts occurred that we saw. I have to remind myself: the kids aren’t alright because the kids are on drugs. They’ve been told I seek to take their precious from them, leaving them vulnerable to the difficult feelings of adolescence. They came out to fight for their right to get high and for their freedom to choose their own clothing and hairstyles.
Do they know that wearing sheets politically has a bad history in the United States? The right side of history wears normal clothes to protests, shows their face, and expects contempt, showing peace and conviction in return. I believe women will always and eventually resurface. Mothers are naturally supreme. This extended recent hiccup of patriarchy is not the always and forever they tell us it has been. Recorded history does not go back very far. What records were destroyed? What was burned in Hypatia’s library?
Please allow me to call your attention to the stains on their sheets.
If you think this was a one-off, please let me update you: they do not even care about the dignity of their own flag. Guaranteed they all went home to a Sabrina Prater property.
Not only was their flag clearly stained and frayed, it had been intentionally defaced with political graffiti. Yet, they - trans rights activists - were holding this flag up to the cameras. Presumably, this is the designated protest prop flag, and that is why they do not mind that it looks like actual excrement was once wiped on it. They have even less respect for what this flag stands for than I do. Was no trans charity willing to retire this flag and issue them a new one!? Hell, maybe I’ll donate.*
Contrast this to the expectation for the treatment of the American flag:
No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America; the flag should not be dipped to any person or thing. Regimental colors, State flags, and organization or institutional flags are to be dipped as a mark of honor.
[…]
The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.
4 US Code § 8 - Respect for flag
They ought to burn that flag, not hold it up to the cameras.
Madison is a college town, and so most of the counter-protestors were young people, full of ideology and idealism. They believe the unfairness of biological irrevocability is an injustice that can and should be corrected, and they question why older women, who are inherently suspect in a patriarchal culture, would be standing in the way of correcting injustice. It reminds them of the time their mothers stood in their way of something else they wanted. They were so unfair then, too! We were hilariously commanded, “don’t procreate,” as if these individuals had not sabotaged their procreative abilities via hormones and surgeries. They do not hear themselves. I tried to mature them directly via patient and reasoned conversation.
Pre-empting that is the fact that they have experienced a religious ecstasy accessible only to those ‘in sync’ or who have ‘opened the channel.’ One woman in particular sought to share that ecstasy with me via looking wounded and repeating outlandish and unfounded accusations (e.g., “why do you hate me?”) - a form of negging Christians and Scientologists often use when proselytizing. “Negging” is the strategic use of insults and put-downs to manipulate a target into attempting to impress the person negging - to correct what the person being negged accurately recognizes is a misrepresentation. Religious fundamentalists truly believe that if you are outside of their faith, and you do not want to convert when presented with their faith, it is because you are a bad person who has failed, or is in the process of failing, at life. They must save you, for you know not what you do.
Unlike some young people (such as myself, in the miocene), they lacked experience with conversational debating, and struggled especially with the concept of taking turns when having a heated discussion. As a rule, they lacked self-monitoring skills to quickly recognize when they were talking over someone, once on the proverbial tear. This may have been a function of age, mental illness, drug use, or garden-variety rudeness. I toyed around a bit with my responses, observing how many of them took a brute force approach, similar to guessing a password by putting in random characters enough times. Interpersonal emotional manipulation, pouring water on the ground, and acoustic sabotage were the extent of their revolutionary toolbox.
I found myself at several points attempting to halt the crosstalk, because I was not being allowed to speak in the exchange without being spoken over. I also noted that my failure to react negatively seemed to frustrate several of them, who appeared to be aiming to flap me, and instead were met with calm specifics gleaned from my research about the horrors being inflicted by these surgeons onto the bodies of young people. Their response was typically an appeal to scarcity: “That’s not everyone! That’s very rare!” Well, so is trans, allegedly, hence why it supposedly will not impact women much. Yet, we must radically reorder society for .5% of the population which is trans identifying, whilst ignoring the 50%+ females.
So much of their response pattern could be explained with reference to past emotional-verbal conditioning, socially acquired, which may function independent of logical thought processes. They had certain situational triggers, like my lack of response to their attempt to trigger me, and this led to emotional escalation. That in turn led to things like a decreased response latency, i.e., it took them less and less time between statements to feel they had surpassed the threshhold of “now is a good time to talk.” It also led to increased volume and demeanor changes, such as walking away in a hot fury.
One protestor, a woman, the gender Pentecostal mentioned earlier, came up to us to ask a question. Her question was: “Do you not think I am a nice and beautiful person?” I granted the point, in the vain attempt to advance the conversation. In response to being granted this point, she kept repeating, “Why do you hate me? Don’t you think I’m beautiful?” while looking increasingly distraught, as though she were approaching the point of tears. I can imagine this sort of brute-force emotional manipulation works on some people. There is an impulse to rescue crying women, that some women learn to take advantage of. The repetition of the question creates the social-pragmatic implicature (message) that the answer was wrong, and that generally prompts a reasonable individual to attempt to answer the question again. Don’t!
“I already answered that question. Do you remember my answer?”
This tactic does not work on me because my memory is longer than a few seconds and I have the capacity to make inferences about other people’s motivated, goal-directed, conditioned behaviors. I question what nightmare she went through to think this is a reasonable way to proselytize for her church - this sort of ecstatic attempt to open an empathic channel between us, via negging, to allow for some sort of trans-formative religious experience that will leave me vulnerable to horizontal doctrine transfer. It was clear that the fact that this did not work, yet I still was willing to engage patiently with her, represented a direct challenge to her faith that she had discovered how to sail the deep river of the soul. I was the river reversing course on her, and it felt so very wrong.
Another individual was proudly displaying her mastectochist chest. She had had both breasts severed, apparently by Dr. Beartrap, leaving asymmetrical and jagged scars complete with the “no-nips” look. On her chest was written, “trans is beautiful.” Reasonable people can and do disagree. Some things are a matter of taste. Nothing about what was done to her evokes feelings within me of beauty. Trans is a bear trap that won’t let go until it rips pieces off of you.
This was a microcosm of their larger approach to stifling women’s voices. They used a natural advantage men have over women in being heard in a crowd: they got louder at a lower pitch.
You see, men do not drown out women in mixed company because they necessarily seek to. They do so because of the shape of the cochlea, which involves the motion of the ossicles (middle ear bones) pressing against the oval window and causing a pressure wave to travel the basilar membrane. This wave comes to rest and constructively interferes with earlier wavelengths at the location on the membrane at which the resonant frequency of the membrane matches the frequency of the sound wave traveling up the membrane.
This constructive interference causes that portion of the membrane to stretch so far that it pushes the hair cells (cilia) of the inner ear, which bends them, causing a signal to be released into the acoustic nerve which then travels to the acoustic processing areas of the brain. In order to allow this, the basilar membrane is very narrow and stiff at one end and wide and floppy at the other, resulting in differential resonant frequency depending on where within the cochlea you happen to be. As a result, there is a phenomenon known as the “upward spread of masking.” Lower pitches travel along the higher pitch detection areas, disrupting your perception of higher pitches, to reach the area of low pitch resonant frequency. The reverse does not occur. Therefore, lower-pitched voices drown out higher pitched voices independent of volume.
This is also part of why white noise may be uncomfortable to some people even at a low volume. White noise is wide-band and so the membrane, whose stretching you can feel (much like skin), is stretching in unpredictable places and in many places at once. This is confusing and distressing, especially the less emotionally developed the individual person or animal happens to be. Some people, such as myself, also have widespread joint paint, and the middle ear bones contain joints. Sound applies pressure to these joints, which for some people, may cause pain. In the course of my life, I have greatly benefited from the strategic use of concert ear plugs and noise canceling headphones. I love my pair of BOSE QuietComfort with active noise canceling, in case you are looking for a recommendation.
So, knowing this, the misguided students and the one 50 year old TRA (whose skirt I liked so much I nearly asked him which Hot Topic he bought it at) took several steps to disrupt our protest. They shouted over us. They brought their own megaphones. They honked. They unplugged the mic when I was speaking. They did everything and anything they could to make sure that passers-by were not exposed to our wrongthink. They also displaced us from our permitted location, per the organizers.
To spite these exciteable children (and Hot Topic TRA), I gave an impromptu speech about the dangers of trans medicine. Trans medicine is injury, much like trans women are men. I mentioned the acknowledgment I had received from members of the trans crowd of the fact that even one child will live the life an opiate addict due to the opiates that were given following their cosmetic, elective double mastectomy as a minor. I addressed the anger I have that young people are living with colostomy bags due to boondoggle-related injuries, sustained as part of a treatment protocol that was begun prior to the age of majority.
Following this display of female solidarity and sorority, we returned to the hotel and enjoyed a dip in the pool, a moment in the sauna, and a soak in the whirlpool hot tub. We then shared a meal and gathered to hear Thistle Pettersen serenade us. Several conference attendees took turns sharing their talents, including poetry readings, stand-up comedy, as well as more singing, this time from yours truly. If you were wondering if you should buy a ticket to a feminist conference, and if it is safe to attend it, please know, this felt very safe from start to finish, even with the gaggle of protestors.
*No.
Part 2:Day 2 coming soon!
As usual, so good I had to read it twice! Looking forward to part 2!💪
Excellent read!
