Dead Names Entry: Tabitha "Marcus" Varnier
A severely mentally ill women with multiple diagnoses is still prescribed testosterone. This quickly resulted in her suicide at 32.
Tabitha struggled with schizophrenia, bipolar and depression, among others, yet she was still prescribed testosterone to transition into a man without regard for the physical danger that put this very disordered individual into. Tabitha left behind an enormous family of 6 brothers and 5 sisters. She was only 32. Everyone was blindsided because everyone was affirming, accepting, and supportive. Somehow, sabotaging her brain chemistry did not prevent her suicide.

I've said it many times before, but I will say it again here--
Adults cannot do whatever they want.
None of this should be happening to anyone, at any age. There is no civil right to this, it's not a matter of privacy or bodily autonomy, and they can all be told no. Nothing else will work.
These stories are so so sad and heartbreaking. How many people have to keep being harmed by the false hope this medical scam is giving?
