A Note on Feelings Cancer and the Scientific Method

How did we get here?

The only study design that can show causality is a prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled, dual-arm, double blinded study. That means taking a large enough group of "trans kids," randomly assigning them to placebo control or GNRH-A group, and no one knows who is who. This has not been done. Instead, we skipped over this part of the scientific process and jumped straight into anything goes because WPATH said it's what eunuchgender kids need. Even if you attempted it, the blinding would vanish pretty quickly, and placebo arm kids might drop out.

If there is a new cancer drug, there's two methods for getting access to it if you've got a relevant cancer. You can join a placebo-controlled clinical trial, and you may be given either this poison or a placebo, and that might end badly for you. That's the scientific method. The other way to gain access to an unapproved drug is under what's known as a "compassionate use" exception in which a very ill patient can gain access to the drug prior to its being proven via clinical trial. This can be under "expanded access programs" or the "right to try."

Both of these typically require a patient be seriously ill, not eligible for a current clinical trial, or able to reasonably access one, have no other treatment options, and likely to gain some benefit. So this is how they are giving these kids puberty blockers with no evidence. They have taken these medically healthy children, defined them as terminally ill, defined them as having no other treatment options baselessly, and made the assertion the benefits outweigh the risks, by lying about the risks. The claim is that feelings-cancer exists and these kids have it.

It is truly insane that we are at this juncture and that we have as a society been so conned by the medical establishment that teenage angst in the context of health and normalcy is equivalent to a terminal, inoperable cancer that has not responded to other treatments. There is no such thing as feelings cancer. There’s no evidence these children are sick. There’s no reason to believe they will get worse if we do not damage their development. We have to stop the machine. This is societal Munchausen’s by Proxy.
